Our mission is to help the 140,000 homeless cats in the Waterloo Region which include Cambridge, Kitchener and Waterloo. With our trapping, TNR (Trap, Neuter, and Return) and socialization work, we make sure every toebean counts!
This helps stop the number from increasing exponentially by decreasing the outdoor feral cat population and placing adoptable pets into furever homes.
All this requires an amazing team of dedicated volunteers… and money. Cats being TNR’d cost an average of $35-50 each, not including the investment in traps and carriers. Friendly and sociable cats can cost $400 and up for spay/neuter, vaccines, microchipping and a vet check. If they are sick (which is common with cats from the streets) they can incur vet fees, medication costs and more time in foster while being treated.
Become a monthly donor. From a minimum of $10 or more a month, your donation will directly impact the cats in Cambridge, Kitchener and Waterloo that are living on the streets and at risk of disease, wild animal attacks, being hit by a car, surviving in the cold of winter and so much more.
